The KS13 series mining general power transformer, as a distribution equipment for mines, has the characteristics of small size, easy to go underground, reasonable structure, low loss, and good heat dissipation performance.
This series of products is made by stacking grain oriented high magnetic conductivity silicon steel sheets. The iron core is a core type iron core, a fully inclined seam stacked iron core, and its iron core column is a multi-stage circular cross-section, with low noise and low loss. The fuel tank structure is sturdy, and high and low voltage cable junction boxes are welded on both sides of the tank wall for cable wiring. The high voltage coil must have a tap voltage of+5% of the rated voltage, and the voltage can be converted using a tap changer. When changing the voltage, the power must be cut off first, and then the wind and rain cover of the tap changer on the box wall must be removed to change the voltage. The low voltage side of the transformer allows the 'Y' type to be connected to 693V or the 'D' type to be connected to 400V for power supply. Six ceramic sleeves are directly installed at the secondary end of the cable junction box for users to connect. The transformer is lifted using a lifting rod welded to the box wall, and the bottom of the transformer box is equipped with a trailer. There are installation holes on the trailer, which can be used to install mining car rollers when needed by the mine.

KS13 mining transformers are widely used in various types of mines such as coal mines, iron mines, copper mines, gold mines, as well as places such as highways, railways, tunnels, and oil fields. In these places, they not only supply power to various equipment underground, but also prevent fire or explosion accidents caused by electrical equipment to a certain extent.
Use environment and working conditions
The altitude shall not exceed 1500m, and the environment shall be specified separately;
● Environmental temperature:
Temperature+40 ℃;
Daily average temperature+25 ℃;
Annual average temperature+20 ℃;
Outdoor low temperature -20 ℃.
The relative humidity of the surrounding air should not exceed 95% (at+25 ℃);
Installed in underground mines where there is coal dust and gas, but no explosion hazard;
The waveform of the power supply voltage is approximately a sine wave;
Installation and maintenance
Special attention should be paid to safety and correct operating procedures for the installation and maintenance of KS13 mining transformers. During installation, it should be ensured that the transformer meets local safety standards and appropriate adjustments should be made as necessary to adapt to local environmental conditions. Maintenance requires regular inspection of the insulation performance, cooling system, and wiring of the transformer to ensure that it can maintain good working condition during long-term operation.
